Then Monday the big one starts and goes on for 7 days & nights. 10 stages, 600 performers at the Plymouth Country Fairgrounds. I'll doing a main stage show Monday from 1 to 1:30 and again at 9 to 9:30. Not bad huh? I remember when I didn't get to even get close to the main stage! Of course I was on stage anyway with every other act playing bass guitar. Maybe they decided they might as well let me have some time of my own! Maybe being a Hall of Fame Member now helps?

Anyway you'll see me all over the fairgrounds all week playing with whoever will let me. Check your schedule and i'll be there somewhere. Also, in response to a lot of my fans wanting to hear just me and my guitar, I'll be doing some solo shows directed at you! For those of you who don't know, I worked really hard to earn the respect of some of the midwests top musicians and got to the point where I could have a 9 piece band playing behind me sometimes. Great fun and I enjoy these musicians and working with them. But then I started hearing from fans of mine who said they'd rather just listen to me and my guitar? Well, that's all right too and I'm looking forward to seeing you all so come out!

Looking forward to the 1st of October and the Loretta Lynn Ranch Nashville Songwriters Fest. Also that Sunday I'll be at The Nashville Cowboy Church performing and testifying. It's located in The Texas Troubadore Theatre out by The Opryland Hotel in Nsshville. A real honor, same stage as the Midnight Jamboree. Monday I'll be at The BlueBird Cafe and Picks Lounge for Songwriter nights. Tuesday my friend from Just Plain Folks website, Mike Dunbar is having a birthday! I'll be joining him and his band, "The Over The Hillbillies" for a jamboree night that happens every Tuesday night at the Long Hollow Jamboree. http://www.tnvacation.com/vendors/long_hollow_jamboree Sounds like fun, I'll get to play with some Nashville Pickers again! Mike is also the Bass Guitarist at Nashville Cowboy Church......Then the fun is over and I have to get back home to play at the Moose Club in Sioux Falls, SD that Saturday with The SideTracks Band. Well, that's fun too......

This Friday Terry Durr and Claire and I (The Remnants) will be starting the 10 days straight of music around here at the Senior Center in Sioux City. 1 to 3:30pm Then, the next Friday, Sept 3rd, The SideTracks Band will be there, plus, at the Eagles Club in South Sioux City, NE. Friday night 8 to 11:30 pm. Busy time but we know what comes next for some of us. Winter! Enjoy it while you can!
